Black Nox Angel (Centropyge nox) Care
The Black Nox Angelfish, Centropyge nox, is also known as the Midnight Angelfish. These fish are found in the Pacific Ocean region. The Black Nox is solid black across its whole body. There is no variation in color between the sexes.
These fish are omnivores and do best in tanks with lots of algae to graze on. They will also eat a variety of angelfish food and meaty foods.
Black Nox Angelfish do best in tanks that are at least 70 gallons or more and have plenty of live rock to graze on and hide in. They should be the only dwarf angel in an aquarium and are not the best reef inhabitants as they are known to nip at clam mantles, zoanthids, and soft coral polyps.
