Black Clown Goby (Gobiodon sp.) Care
The Black Clown Goby, Gobiodon sp., comes from the Indo-Pacific region. They have a round shaped head and are a dark gray to black color across the entire body.
These fish are a great fish for beginners.
Clown gobies are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp and other types of fresh or frozen chopped seafood.
The Black Clown Goby requires an aquarium of 10 gallons or larger with plenty of live rock for hiding. They are known to jump and will leap out of tanks without a lid. They are peaceful fish and should not be kept with aggressive fish.
They are reef safe and will not bother corals, fish, but will eat tiny invertebrates.
