Twinspot Goby (Signigobius biocellatus) Care
The Twinspot Goby, Signigobius biocellatus, is also known as the Two Spot Goby. These fish come from the Western Pacific Ocean. They have a white body with brown mottling, a thin vertical light brown band through the eyes, blue spots on the anal fin, and large black eyespots on both the front and rear dorsal fins.
These gobies are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp and other types of fresh or frozen chopped seafood.
Twinspot Gobies require an aquarium of 10 gallons or larger with plenty of live rock for hiding and a deep sand bed. They are known to jump and will leap out of tanks without a lid. They are peaceful fish and should not be kept with aggressive fish.
They are reef safe and will not bother corals, fish, but will eat tiny invertebrates.
