Yellow Watchman Goby (Cryptocentrus cinctus) Care
The Yellow Watchman Goby, Cryptocentrus cinctus, is also known as the Yellow Prawn Goby. These fish come from the Western Pacific region. They have a bright yellow body with blue spots on the head and front part of the body.
These gobies are carnivores and require a diet rich in meaty foods, such as mysis and brine shrimp and other types of fresh or frozen chopped seafood.
Bar Gobies require an aquarium of 30 gallons or larger with plenty of live rock for hiding and a deep sand bed. They are known to jump and will leap out of tanks without a lid. They are peaceful fish and should not be kept with aggressive fish.
They are reef safe and will not bother corals, fish, but will eat tiny invertebrates.
